Hee J. Kim joins Litigation, P.C. as Of Counsel, Expanding Litigation, P.C.’s Reach to Northern California
In an effort to meet the growing demand for top-flight legal services in complex real estate and business litigation cases, Litigation, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Hee J. Kim as an Of Counsel attorney.
Mr. Kim not only brings to Litigation, P.C. a wealth of experience in litigation, but was also named partner of an LLP as soon as he received his State Bar license in 2011. He currently operates the Hee J. Kim Law Firm, P.C., in Oakland.
In addition to his success as a litigator in Northern California, Mr. Kim has a personal connection with Los Angeles-based Litigation, P.C.. Mr. Kim attended college with Lead Counsel Zein E. Obagi Jr., and also worked with Mr. Obagi at the Cal Fund, a student-operated fundraising venture at UC Berkeley. Most recently, Mr. Kim worked with Mr. Obagi on a civil-rights case concerning a 13-year-old autistic student in San Bernardino which resulted in a settlement and $337,500 recovery for the minor and his mother.
The case highlights one of Mr. Kim’s strongest areas, as he has successfully represented students with disabilities in obtaining appropriate services in public school districts throughout the Bay Area — especially in many “gray” areas of the law, particularly in matters involving preschool children.
Specializing in personal injury, wrongful death and contractual disputes, Mr. Kim has helped recover millions in settlements and judgments for his clients. He also regularly assists defense attorneys representing individuals, public entities, and private corporations against personal-injury claims.
A first-generation Korean-American born and raised in Sonoma County, Calif., Mr. Kim brings to Litigation, P.C. a commitment to providing cost-conscious, goal oriented representation.
